We take our inspiration and name from the RMS Strathmore, which served as a Royal Mail Ship and ocean liner for over three decades. Commissioned in 1935, the Strathmore was one of five “Strath” class ships. In her early days, Strathmore served the Tilbury to Brisbane route via Bombay (Mumbai), setting records along the way. In 1938 she transported Sir Don Bradman and the Australian cricket team to England for the 1938 Ashes series. At the outbreak of the Second World War, the Strathmore served as a troop Carrier, taking part in various operations from the North African campaign to the Atlantic.
At the conclusion of the war, Strathmore returned to service as an ocean liner on the London to Sydney route until 1963.
As your trusted partners, we seek to emulate the loyal and long-standing service of the Strathmore, safely guiding you through both calm and turbulent investment waters.
